About Sailing Adventures on the Sea of Cortez
Why the Sea of Cortez? Stunning scenery, a good sailing breeze, warm water, uncrowded anchorages, abundant wildlife, and so much more.
It’s safe, and easy to get to - just a 2.5 hour flight from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, and an easy shuttle to La Paz. Take a look at this video from PostandFly to get a taste of what this area has to offer: Sea of Cortez from Above. This has become our favorite place to cruise under sail, and you are going to love it too.
Every Sailing Adventure departs from and returns to Marina CostaBaja in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
The season runs from November to May, and we usually have a trip running each month. Water temps range from 69-72 degrees F, and the snorkeling is excellent.
The vessels we sail on include Catamarans in the 42-52 foot range, and Beneteau, Jeanneau, and monohulls in the 41-52 foot range.

We have three different ways to go, depending on your objectives: the Slow Cruise, the Bareboat/SLC certification cruise, and the Flotilla. Follow the blue links below for details.
